Hi everyone!

I have a question that may have an obvious answer, but I just can't find it...

In doing my 3D comics, I keep finding myself trying to find out which make-up I've used on a female character.  All I want to do is identify which particular lipstick, eye makeup and sometimes skin texture I have used, and I can't find how to do this.  I've tried selecting the head and going to Surfaces, but I can never seem to find the name of what makeup I've used, which leads to a lot of time wasted with trial and error!

This probably has an obvious answer, and I'll really appreciate anyone who can enlighten me!

Thanks in advance :)

After converting Brute X to TriAx weight mapping, Did you save Brute X as a Figure asset? I'm pretty sure but not positive that the transfer utility needs the .duf and or .Dson files to work.

My 2 cents is to save Brute X as a figure/prop asset. I set the content type: Actor, Category: default/figures/creatures (I don't know if that matters, I just like to be thorough.) And then saved it. I cleared the scene and reloaded the newly saved Brute X, imported a quick suit I made and ran the Transfer Utility and it worked just fine.

Couple extra tips, looking at your screen shot there, be sure to use Source scene item: Brute X Item Shape: current, since his arms are not in their default pose. 2nd tip this only works for the transfer utility. If you are planning on using auto follow to use morphs, than you have a lot more to do

Yes I did, but I had the same problem, and when I attempted to save it the other way I lost the figures rigging so that was a dead end too.

But I may have missed (most likely did miss) a detail in there somewhere, I have abandoned this one for a while until I have a better grasp of the mechanics involved.

Thanks so much for your help, you have given me more to consider!

Personally, I am not familiar with the transfer utility in DAZ Studio. Maybe somebody else would be able to help. Sorry! :)

Okay, I know this is a photograph but does anyone know whether there is hair available for Daz (Gen/Gen2/Gen3) that will do this?

Also, take a look at this recent product www.daz3d.com/summer-wet-hair-… there are "wind back" morphs, which could be close to what you are looking for but not quite, as the hair is not as long and morphs may not work if you intend to have the girl upside down... ;)
